Dr. Amanj Ahmad is an Internal Medicine Consultant with over 20 years of experience across the United Kingdom and the Middle East. He graduated from Sulaimani University in Iraq and completed postgraduate training in the UK, including MRCP, SCE in Geriatric Medicine, CCT, DGM, and FRCP.
Expertise
He has held consultant and leadership roles in leading healthcare institutions, with expertise in frailty, comprehensive geriatric assessment, dementia and delirium, stroke care, rehabilitation, acute internal medicine, chronic disease management, and palliative care. He has also helped develop Hospital at Home models and completed nearly 2,000 home visits for elderly patients, extending patient-centred care into the community.
Dr. Ahmad is committed to compassionate, evidence-based care that supports healthy ageing, independence, and long-term wellbeing. He also contributes to service development, medical education, and quality improvement initiatives.
