Neck Procedures
The cervical spine enables head movement and carries nerves that control arm and leg function. Common issues include herniated discs, degeneration, and stenosis, causing pain, stiffness, numbness, or weakness. Most cases are treated without surgery, but when needed, advanced methods like artificial disc replacement and microsurgery are used.
Middle Back Procedures

Qualifications

Dr. Amanj Ahmad holds an MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) from the University of Sulaimani, Iraq. He completed extensive postgraduate training in the United Kingdom and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), with Specialist Certification in Geriatric Medicine (SCE). He holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).

He brings over 20 years of clinical experience across the UK and UAE, with a strong background in acute medicine, geriatrics, rehabilitation, and community-based care.

He has worked in leading institutions including teaching hospitals in the UK and major healthcare providers in Dubai, managing a wide spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions.

He has a special interest in geriatric medicine, focusing on frailty, dementia, and complex multi-morbidity management, and is deeply committed to delivering holistic, patient-centered care. His experience spans acute hospital care, rehabilitation, and community-based services, including leading innovative “Hospital at Home” models and conducting extensive home care visits for elderly patients.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ahmad has held academic and leadership roles, including Assistant Clinical Professor in Geriatrics and participation in physician licensing assessments. He is known for his strong multidisciplinary collaboration, leadership in service development, and dedication to improving patient outcomes and quality of life, particularly for elderly and vulnerable populations.
