Brief Profile
Dr. Habib Bakhit Al Basti is a Senior Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with over three decades of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. A graduate of Ain Shams University, he completed advanced surgical training in the United Kingdom and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Alongside his role at the Korean Medical Center, he serves as a Consultant in Plastic Surgery at The View Hospital and Hamad General Hospital and is the Medical Director of Dr. Habib Al Basti Medical Complex.
Dr. Habib has held several leadership positions, including President of the Pan Arab Society of Plastic Surgeons and the GCC Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College–Qatar and is actively involved in teaching, research, and regional board examinations. As a member of several national and international professional societies, including ISAPS and ASPS, he remains committed to advancing the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery while delivering personalized, patient-centered care.
