Neck Procedures
The cervical spine enables head movement and carries nerves that control arm and leg function. Common issues include herniated discs, degeneration, and stenosis, causing pain, stiffness, numbness, or weakness. Most cases are treated without surgery, but when needed, advanced methods like artificial disc replacement and microsurgery are used.
Middle Back Procedures
This part of the spine supports torso movement and contains nerves affecting balance and leg function. Common problems include degeneration, stenosis, and tumors, leading to back pain, balance issues, or bladder/bowel problems. Minimally invasive techniques can often resolve these conditions.
Lower Back Procedures
The lumbar spine carries body weight, enables movement, and houses nerves for leg and bladder function. Conditions like herniation, degeneration, stenosis, tumors, or fractures may cause pain, stiffness, or mobility issues. Today, most are treated successfully—often without hospitalization—using advanced techniques like artificial disc replacement and microdecompression.

Dr. Samr Zytoun is a German Board-certified Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, with extensive experience in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, and trauma care. He previously served as a Consultant in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at one of the teaching hospitals affiliated with the University of Hannover, Germany, where he managed approximately 4,000 patients and performed over 600 orthopedic procedures annually.

Dr. Samr specializes in minimally invasive orthopedic surgery, with expertise in arthroscopic reconstruction of knee and shoulder sports injuries, joint preservation procedures, joint replacement surgery, and complex trauma management. His clinical expertise also includes sports medicine, PRP and hyaluronic acid injections, shockwave therapy, pain management, and non-surgical treatments for musculoskeletal conditions.

He holds German Board certifications in Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Sport Injury and Arthroscopic Surgery, and Complex Trauma Surgery, in addition to fellowships in hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty, as well as manual medicine and chiropractic. He is also a DKG Master Certified Knee Surgeon and an active member of several leading European and German orthopedic societies.
